- How do I pay?

 

The payment is handled on the day of the tour, by either cash, cheque or credit card.

- What are the conditions of participation? (age/ medical restrictions?)

 

The tours offered by Bordeaux Bike Tour are available for anyone over the height of 1m50 and know how to ride a bike. For children between 0 and 2 years old, baby seats are provided for no extra cost. For children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old , depending on their size, they have the option of using a classic bike or what is called a "suiveur", i.e.: a harnessed bike, (ideal for little ones with or without little effort).

 

 As far as fitness is concerned, if you do not have a medical indication then the visit of Bordeaux is really within everyone's reach. Only the Pape Clément and Lafon Rochet towers (distance between 20 and 25 km) require some effort as some hills are expected.

- Should I book in advance?

 

It is highly advised to contact us at least 24 hours in advance. As a general rule, the earlier you reserve the likelier your chance is to find an availability.

 

- What should I wear?

 

Simply come in comfortable clothes suitable for outdoor leisure, trainers, sunglasses, a raincoat  jacket  the weather requires it). We will provide you with a helmet and even a bottle of water.

 

- What happens if it rains?

 

In the case of rain right from the start, the tour will continue except in the case of strong rain or in extreme conditions (violent winds etc...). Bring a rain jacket just to be safe.

 

- Can I do the tour with my own bike?

 

You can of course take each tour with your own bike on the conditions that: you are capable of repairing a puncture and to inform us at least 24 hours before departure. A reduction of 5 euros is foreseen in this case.

 

- Are private tours available?

The tours are done in French or in English; do make sure that the language you have chosen for the tour is the correct one.
